This week was a pretty good week when it came to school. All of my classes were packed with work, but it wasn’t so overwhelming that I couldn’t finish. English, as always, stayed a class that allowed me to relax yet still feel productive.
In English, we focused mainly on our comparative analysis over October Sky and Of Mice and Men. I never really realized how many similarities those two books had until I associated them with the article Living In Sym, which is an article explaining the different types of symbiotic relationships.
In both October Sky and Of Mice and Men, there appears to be mutualistic relationships between the two main characters. Sonny and Quentin rely on each other for rocket building, and Lennie and George rely on each other in order to achieve their ultimate goal.
By discovering this similarity, it occurred to me that mutualistic relationships are everywhere, even in my own life.
